Java by train                                                             Java Par train

A guided tour of Java                                                                                                                 Un voyage guidé à Java

For many years, like the late Robinson Crusoe, I had been tortured by the irrestible desire to go on a long journey.
(Honoré de Balsac. My journey from Paris to Java).

The unique offer of a Québécois, living in Java, who would like to share his knowledge of his adopted country.
I will pick you up in Jakarta. You let yourself be guided.

Java, the unknown Island

An immense island, densely populated. Varied.
Itinerary : Jakarta, Pekalongan, Surabaya, Malang, Banyuwangi, Ijen volcanoes and Bromo, Solo, Yogyakarta. Followed by a short stay in my home, in the mountains east of Solo city.
Then if you have time and the inclination, I will guide you to Bali or Flores or Banda Neira.
We could even go to Sumatra, Sulawesi or Papua.
This trip requires patience, adaptation and an open mind. The itinerary is of Indonesian inspiration, that is to say: spontaneous and flexible.
The duration: 1 to 3 weeks.
Number of travelers: 1 to 4.
Your luggage: light and small.
Essential: CAMERA. I will take you to photogenic places.
